Norma G. Hackler, 80, of Moline, IL, died Friday, July 14, 2017, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private graveside services will be held at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Norma was born on August 6, 1936, in West York, IL, the daughter of Deb Reynolds. She married Theryl Hackler on August 26, 1952, and he preceded her in death in November of 1972. She worked as a server and waitress for the Peppermill restaurant in Morton, IL.
Norma was an avid fan of the Cubs, Dodgers, and the Golden State Warriors. Her last wishes were simply for everyone to be happy. In her honor, please spend time doing what you love with those you love.
Survivors include her children, Cindy (Steve) Wynn, Mountain Home, AR, Jay (Jennifer Hayden) Hackler, Savoy, IL, and Kelli (Brad) Gabert, Moline, IL; so many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, granddogs, and grandcats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Cheryl; son-in-law, Jack; granddaughter, Laurie.
