Penny R. (Phillips) Ashbaugh

Penny Raylene Ashbaugh, 54, of Turlock, CA, passed away Friday May 12, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday May 25, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4800 Kennedy Dr, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.  Entombment will be at Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family.

Penny was born on January 17, 1969, in Moline, the daughter of Charles R. and Bonnie R. (Kildow) Phillips. She married Scott Ashbaugh in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death in November of 2021. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she volunteered as a teacher and held other positions. She was active with the Young Women Organization.

Survivors include her daughters, Allison Ashbaugh, Turlock, CA, Pamela Stultz (Justin Caulkins), Ceres, CA; grandchildren, Isabella and J.J.; parents, Charles and Bonnie; sister, Amy (Judd) Stucky, Plainville, MN; brothers, Scott (Shannon) Phillips, Steilacoom, WA; many nieces and nephews, two aunts, Patricia Banks and Magdalena Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott.
