Alfred "Al" Kushmer

Alfred “Al” Kushmer, Jr., 84, of Moline, passed away, Friday, October 22, 2021, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

Private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens where military honors will be conducted.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline is assisting the family.

Al was born on August 30, 1937, in Moline, the son of Alfred Sr and Reatha (Curry) Kushmer. He previously worked for John Deere as a patent engineer. Al is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his sons, Mike and Matthew; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica, Austin, and Madison; and sister, Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eunice Ogden.
