Alice M. Graham, 83, of Rock Island, IL, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Moline Public Library or to Coal Valley Presbyterian Church.
Alice was born on August 17, 1932, in Coal Valley, IL, the daughter of Oscar Anderson and Myrtle English. She married John Hunter on November 1, 1958. She later married Gilbert "Bud" Graham on November 14, 1992, in Rock Island, IL, and he preceded her in death on July 17, 2013.
Alice worked as a library assistant for the Moline Public Library for 27 and a half years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Coal Valley Presbyterian Church, the Viking Club, and the Plus 60 Organization. Alice loved planning trips and traveling. She also enjoyed reading and flowers.
Survivors include her step daughters, Sue A. Hunter, Nancy Graham, and Wendy Widman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert; step mother, Ethel Walters Anderson; and 4 brothers.
