Allan D. Perkins, 75, of Milan, IL, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Private funeral service and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Allan asked for memorials to be made to a charity of your choice.
Allan was born on August 11, 1938, in Moline, IL, the son of Malcolm and Germaine (Polfliet) Perkins. He married Nancy J. Montford in February of 1964, in Elgin, IL.
Allan proudly served the United States Air Force. He worked as an inspector for John Deere Harvester in East Moline, retiring in 1994.
Allan was a member of U.A.W. Local 865 in East Moline and enjoyed woodcarving. More than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending all of their ball games and activities.
