Allyssa Jean Larson, 20, of Davenport, IA, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Davenport, IA.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the funeral home. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Allyssa was born on August 14, 1993, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Eric S. Larson and Danielle M. Griffin-Ballard. She graduated from Rockridge High School, studied chemical engineering at MCC, and was most recently working at Applebee's in Muscatine, IA, for the last four years.
Allyssa was an amazing artist. She loved painting, photography, music, quotes, drawing tattoos, and studying chemical engineering. She loved spending time with her sisters, brothers, and Kunkle Corey. Allyssa also had a love for nature and the outdoors. She held a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Copper and Grandpa. Allyssa was a free spirited person whose smile would light up a room. She had a one of a kind heart and will forever be deeply missed. More than anything, Allyssa loved being with her family and they meant the world to her.
