Amy Anderson-Carr

Amy Anderson-Carr, 59, of Milan, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday July 4, 2026, at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 17, 2026, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone who wishes to attend should meet at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. at 9 a.m. Friday morning for procession to the cemetery.

Amy was born on October 14, 1966, in Moline, the daughter of Dennis and Sharon (Neufcour) Anderson. She married Timothy “Tim” Carr on October 22, 2015, in Muscatine, Iowa. Amy was a devoted employee of Gomez May Law Firm in Davenport. Amy enjoyed cooking, baking, and crafting. She loved to be outdoors fishing on Fyre Lake and watching the hummingbirds that gathered around her feeders. She and Tim liked to play the slots at the local casino and spend time with their family, especially the grandkids.

Amy was an adored firecracker who went out on the Fourth of July.

Survivors include her husband, Tim; daughter and son-in-law, Lauren & John Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter and daughter-in-law, Arden Luethmann & Alexandria Dilley of Long Beach, California; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan & Amy McCormick of Bettendorf, Iowa; grandchildren, Evangeline Smith, Dylan, Brayden and Logan McCormick, Maya, Landon and Clyde Baylor; sister and brother-in-law, Denise Chambers & Scott Johnson of Sherrard, IL; brother, Kevin Anderson of LeHigh Acres, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Damon & Lisa Carr of Naples, FL, Sally & Ray Price of Cairo, GA, Micki & John Graves of Oneida, IL; stepchildren, Nicole Carr and Zachary Carr of Muscatine, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
