Angela DeWilfond

November 15, 1969 — July 23, 2015

Angela Rae DeWilfond, 45, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 13th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CCKMA or to Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.

Angela was born on November 15, 1969, in Cuba City, WI, the daughter of Bob and Betty Wills Speaker. She married Todd DeWilfond on September 16, 1995, in Dubuque, IA. Angela was the founder of CCKMA, a non-profit organization that raises funds for gynecological cancer research. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years.

Angela enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as attending her children's sporting events. She especially loved volunteering for her children's activities at Moline School District. She was an inspiration to those that knew her. Angela was loved by all and will be deeply missed. More than anything, she lived for her family, especially her children - they were her whole world.

Survivors include her loving husband, Todd; daughter, Madeline J. DeWilfond, Moline; son, Logan R. DeWilfond, Moline; step son, Joshua A. DeWilfond, Moline; step daughter, Hayley N. DeWilfond, Milan; 2 grandchildren, Cameron and Audrina; father, Bob (Phyllis) Speaker, East Dubuque, IL; mother, Betty (Tom) Faulkner, Dubuque, IA; mother-in-law, Trudy DeWilfond, Moline; siblings, Jeff Speaker; East Dubuque, IL, Laurie (James) Rohner, Bettendorf, IA, Andy (Pearl Harle Heim) Faulkner, Dubuque, IA, and Alex Faulkner, Dubuque, IA; step siblings, Scott Faulkner, Christina Faulkner, Dan Anger, and Sheri Anger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law, Richard.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. David Bender, Dr. Michael Goodheart, Dr. Costas Constantinou, and Dr. Roy Rupoli, Unity Point Hospice, and all of the staff at UIHC for their wonderful care and compassion.
