Anna "Betty" Ficklin, 86, of Orion, IL, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at her daughter's home in Moline.
A private graveside service will be held at Western Township Cemetery. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd, Orion, is assisting the family with services.
Anna was born on April 10, 1929, in Cambridge, IL, the daughter of Arthur E. and Gerda C. Nelson Vigor. She married Walter Beuford Ficklin on December 6, 1947, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was self-employed as a beautician. Anna very much loved playing Bingo and spending time with her great grandson.
Survivors include her daughter, Cecelia Ficklin; sons, Charles Ficklin and Walter Ficklin; granddaughter, Amanda (Derek) Dagostino; great grandson, August Dagostino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
