Anna Hamilton, 96, of Moline, IL, died Friday, July 17, 2015, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
Anna was born on August 8, 1918, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Erik and Anna Horberg Gustafson. She married Carl B. Hamilton on July 18, 1942, in Moline, IL.
Anna was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, King's Daughters and Oakwood Country Club. She enjoyed golfing and playing Bridge.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Diane (Gary) Scharf, Mt. Zion, and Elaine (Roy) Bynum, Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Greg, Steve, Geoff, Dana, Lee, and Joseph; 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Hamilton; daughter- Barbara Schick; sisters-Helen Johnson and Florence Gustafson; Brother-Elmer Gustafson
