Anne M. Holmgren, 76, of Taylor Ridge, IL, died Thursday, November 28, 2013, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
The family is holding private funeral services and burial will be at Illinois City Cemetery. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Anne Harwood was born on October 18, 1937, in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of Aubrey and Lucile Harwood. She married William Holmgren on August 2, 1959, in Woodhull, IL.
Anne graduated from Galesburg High School in 1955 and graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing in 1958. She worked for TWA as an airline stewardess. She belonged to the Illinois Nursing Association and was an R.N. and a supervising Surgical Nurse at Lutheran and Illini Hospitals. She was also an instructor at the Lutheran School of Nursing.
Anne enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and friends.
