Annette J. Diederich, 87, of Carbon Cliff, IL, died Friday, October 02, 2015, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial of cremains will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal, beside her husband, Gene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be donated toward Alzheimer's Research. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Annette was born on November 28, 1927, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie Belowski Mitton. She married Eugene "Gene" T. Diederich on April 30, 1949, in East Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2013.
Annette worked as a legal secretary for Sam Skafidas and later for Joe Ryan. Prior to that, she worked at the Flamingo Super Club in Carbon Cliff. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Silvis and the American Legion in East Moline.
