Arlene W. Miller, 84, of Coal Valley, IL, died Monday, February 22, 2016, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.

A time to greet the family will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, Arlene wished for memorials to be given to Beulah Presbyterian Church, 9221 148th Avenue, Orion, IL, 61273.

Arlene was born on August 10, 1931, in rural Milan, IL, the daughter of August and Helen (Lowe) Linn. In June of 1949, she graduated from Sherrard High School. She married Richard Miller on August 29, 1951, in Crown Pointe, IN.

Arlene was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church. She was very dedicated to her volunteer work and loved helping with Meals on Wheels and volunteering at Oak Glen. Arlene also did volunteer work for Girl Scouts, 4H, and Montessori School.

Survivors include her loving husband, Richard; children, Becky (Bernard) Pearson, Silvis, IL, Michael (Diane) Miller, Coal Valley, IL, Neil (Kenlyn) Miller, Orion, IL, Jan (Bill) Green, Coal Valley, IL, Jim (Kristin) Miller, Loveland, OH, and Judy (Conte) Bingman, Illinois City, IL; grandchildren, Richard (Jill Stiles) Pearson, Cynthia (Brian) Smith, Lisa (Chad) Dusenberry, Christina (Mike) Giger, Eric (Heather) Miller, Valerie (Joe) Nellor, Adam (Karen) Miller, Nathan (Emily) Knorrek, Trista Knorrek, Kevin Miller, Jenny (Kelby) Krueger, Nick and Cole Miller, Cody and Molly Bingman; 16 great grandchildren.
