Barbara Ann Irene Fulton

Barbara Ann “Barb” Irene Fulton, 92, passed away, February 19, 2026, at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, East Moline or Heartland Hospice.

Barb was born on May 31, 1933, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Francis R. and Marie (Benell) Leach. She married Marvin Eugene Fulton on February 15, 1953, in Davenport, IA; he preceded her in death on October 1, 2007, in Silvis, IL. Barb was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Moline. In her younger years, she loved to travel and go camping with husband and friends. Barb enjoyed cooking and baking, especially pies. She also enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Sherry (Tim) Gogulich, and Marty (Jeff) Hand; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wilma Leach; special friend, Cathy Rieger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Marvin “Rusty” Eugene Fulton Jr., 3 sisters and 1 brother.
