Bernice Doyle, 79, of New Braunfels, TX, formerly of Coal Valley, IL, died Monday, March 17, 2014, at Warm Springs Specialty Hospital, New Braunfels, TX.
A private family celebration of life will be held and inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park at a later date. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bernice was born on September 17, 1934, in Denton, TX, the daughter of John Wesley and Ellie Lee (Carroll) Hope. She married Wayne O. Doyle on February 21, 1954, and he preceded her in death in December of 1998.
In her early years, Bernice worked for Bell Telephone Company but then chose to stay home and take care of her family. Bernice enjoyed spending time on the computer researching genealogy for her family and for others. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
