Berniece Lillian Beyhl, 92, of Moline, passed away, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Public visitation will be at 12-1 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. A private family funeral service will be held, and a livestream of the service can be found on Berniece’s obituary page at esterdahl.com at 1 p.m. on Friday. A recording will be available for later viewing. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice. In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
Berniece was born on November 5, 1928, in Buncombe County, WI, the daughter of Edward Alvin and Mae Teresa (Hughes) Beebe. She married Dean Edward Beyhl on July 3, 1954, at Immanuel Church, Dubuque, IA. Mom was the perfect mom, she was our Cub and Boy Scout, Brownie, 4H leader. She was involved in PTA and school carnival kitchen. She did beautiful cross stitch work, crocheted, knitted, and sewed. Mom and Dad traveled coast to coast then wintered in Mesa, AZ.
Survivors include her children, Ralph (Barbara) Beyhl, St. Petersburg, FL, Keith (Carol) Beyhl, East Moline, Nancy (Chris) Malmloff; grandchildren, Logan (Ariel) Beyhl, Cody Beyhl, Alexis (Matthew) Wiedmann, Jeremy Sturniolo; great grandchildren, Norah and Nehemiah Wiedmann, Otis Beyhl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and 2 brothers.
