Betty Lou De Craene, 86, of Moline, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, Illinois.
Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kewanee on May 3, 2014, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Betty's name to Hope Creek Memory Care.

Betty was born on May 4, 1927, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Kent and Elizabeth (Girkin) Anderson.
She married Richard "Dick" F. De Craene on July 3, 1948, in Kewanee, and they moved to Madison, WI, where they shared most of their lives together. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2013.
Betty's life revolved around her family, friends and neighbors. She loved Christmas and was well known for her delicious treats and wonderful parties. Betty enjoyed gardening, camping, knitting, and driving trips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Rich.
