Betty Ann Cramm

Betty Ann Cramm, 87, of Orion, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at her residence.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4^th Street, Orion, IL.  A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  Private burial will take place at the Oakwood Cemetery in Geneseo.  Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, Main Street Orion, the Orion Food Pantry, or the Orion Community Band.

Betty was born on September 3^rd, 1936, in La Fayette, Illinois, the daughter of Harvey and Dorothy Bloomquist Robertson.  She married G. Franklin Cramm on July 27^th, 1958, in La Fayette, Illinois and he preceded her in death on July 7^th, 2008.

Betty taught school for 2 years with the Gladstone Oquawka School district and then she and her husband owned and operated the Cramm Photography Studio in Orion.  She attended the Orion Baptist Church and was a member of the Orion American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; she was also a very proud member of the Red Hat Club.  Betty loved to crochet and work in her flower garden.  She loved horses especially her childhood horse “Fury”.  Betty enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales, but above all she took great pride in caring for her family members and friends.

Betty is survived by her sister, Linda Asbury of Gilson, Illinois; children, Kim (Dave) White of Osco, Illinois, Keri (Mark) Nahrgang of Davenport, Iowa and Kurt (Tabatha) Cramm of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Michael (Ellye) White, Mitchel (Kaiti) White, Marshal (Brittany) White, Matt (Anna) Beck, Andy (Cierrah) Beck, Dani (Aaron) Peck, Sarah (Nick McGovern) Beck and Megan (Noah Diltz) Cramm; great grandchildren, Wyatt, McCoy, Magnolia, Glenn, Genevieve, Cora, Oliver, Bella, Sophia, Kirklynn, and Avery.

She was preceded in death by her husband and infant son, Kevin George Cramm.
