Betty L. Jones

Betty L. Jones, 91, of East Moline, passed away, March 7, 2024, at UnityPoint Trinity.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematoy, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Betty was born on July 8, 1932, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Ethel (Helmer) Harned. She married Daniel T. Jones on November 15, 1947, in Iowa City. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2017. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She was a talented seamstress and would make alterations and hemming. She also enjoyed making gifts for her friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Hall; son, Larry (Cindy) Jones; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Noel.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ron and brother, Dale.
