Betty J. Lindberg, 90, of Moline, IL, died Monday, April 20, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Elim Covenant Church, 5201 18th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Elim Covenant Church.
Betty was born on October 2, 1924, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Alexander and Ina Hellgren Strandlund. She married Robert C. Lindberg on December 14, 1946, in Moline, and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1992.
She was a member of Elim Covenant Church in Moline, where she was a choir member and a longtime member of Ladies Deborah Society. Betty also attended Bible study and took care of the memorial fund.
Betty enjoyed working in her flower garden, reading, and cross stitching. She also collected baskets and doll pictures.
