Betty M. Johnson

Betty M. Johnson, 92, of Moline, passed away Friday August 30, 2024, at Charter Memory Care, Moline.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday September 3, 2024, at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Betty was born on May 24, 1932, in Kansas. She married Clifford W. Johnson in 1959, in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1993. Betty had been employed at Moline Accessories, a division of Kone. She was a member of Crossroad Christian Church, East Moline, and former member of First Assembly of God, East Moline.

Survivors include her children, Barbara (Leslie O’Melia) Peterson, Stuart (Lisa) Stout, Donald (Donna) Stout, Clayton (Eric Sturgeon) Johnson; Melody (Chris) Allen; grandchildren, April and Travis Peterson, Jeremiah Stout, Melissa Foster; 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford and mother, Della Wilma Ellen Smith.
