Betty J. Tomlinson, 82, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
A family directed memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and inurnment will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family with arrangements.
Betty was born on April 8, 1933, the daughter of Warner and Ruth Bingman Nice. She married Glen Tomlinson on December 30, 1955, in Beulah, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela McCoy; sons, Victor Tomlinson and Ed Tomlinson; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Harvard Nice.
