Beulah M. Bucher, 83, of East Moline, formerly of Coal Valley, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to Hope Creek Care Center.
Beulah was born on September 12, 1932, in Ollie, IA, the daughter of Arthur and Irene Powers Wallerich. She married Van S. Bucher on May 17, 1954, and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1999. She worked as a cook for Aramark, retiring in May of 2004.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Kathleen) Bucher, Milan, IL, and Mike (Margo) Bucher, Ollie, IA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, and infant sister.
