Beverly C. Boettcher, 85, of Moline, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at
Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Moline, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at National
Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church,
where she was a member for about 80 years.
Beverly was born March 7, 1923, in Moline. She was a graduate of Moline High
School and attended Augustana College. She married Paul W. Boettcher on Nov.
15, 1942, in Moline. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 2008.
Beverly retried from the U.S. Army Armament Munitions Readiness Command as a
procurement analyst with 34 years of service in August of 1980.
Beverly and her husband enjoyed traveling and had traveled nearly around the
world. She enjoyed playing bridge, needlework and knitting for charitable
needs. She belonged to NARFE, AARP, Plus 60 Club, and Up and Adam Club at
her church.
She is survived by her nephews, Richard Weybright and his wife, Cheryl, and
Jeffrey Weybright, all of Rock Island; and great-nephews, Michael and Thomas
Weybright.
