Beverly J. Harrison

Beverly Jean Harrison, 83, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013, at First Covenant Church, 3303-41st Street, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be given to the church.

Beverly was born on March 2, 1930 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Raymond E. and Evelyn O. (Rosene) Carlson. She married Kenneth W. Harrison on January 25, 1953 in Moline.

Beverly was a School Teacher with the Moline School District for 20 years, retiring in 1986. After retirement she actively volunteered tutoring first grade children in reading. Beverly was an active part of First Covenant Church for her entire life. She belonged to the Covenant Women and the Retired Teachers Association. Beverly was a former member of University Women.
