Beverly J. Hendershot

Beverly J. Hendershot, 81, of Moline, died December 3, 2008 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2008 at Union Congregational Church, (1811-53rd St.) Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Union Congregational Church.
Beverly was born August 24, 1927 in Rock Island to Frederick and Mabel (Hoover) Ehler. She married Robert Hendershot on November 27, 1948 at Central Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1999.
She was employed at International Harvester and later worked at Sears Roebuck retiring in 1988 as an executive secretary.
Beverly was a member of Union Congregational Church where she was a deaconess and also sang in the choir. She also sang at Central Presbyterian Church. She was also a part of a barber shop quartet. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.
