Beverly Pellegrini, 90, of East Moline, IL died Saturday November 15, 2014 at the Amber Ridge Memory Care, Moline, IL.
As she wished, no services will be held and cremation rites have been accorded. Bev and her husband, Al's cremated remains will be inurned at Rock Island Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Bev was born on September 23, 1924 in Moline, the daughter of Ray and Neola Kay Rydberg Sr. She married Joseph Woods and later married Aldo Pellegrini. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.
Bev was a 1942 graduate of Moline High School. She was employed with the former Eagle Foods as the secretary to the President. Bev enjoyed bowling and bowled in many local leagues. After meeting Al, she took up golf and was thrilled to have a hole-in-one, be the club champion and play in the Waterman Cup. She was a member of the Pinnacle Country Club in Milan and the Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, Florida, where they resided for 23 years. Bev and Al enjoyed their world travels, especially Paris and Greece. Bev also enjoyed playing bridge, but her true love was family and watching her grandchildren's' activities.
