Beverly S. Rice

Beverly S. Rice, 69, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Bev was born on January 1, 1954, in Guntersville, Alabama, the daughter of George and Pauline (Bevel) Moon. She married Larry R. Rice on April 18, 1974, in Guntersville. She was previously employed as the manager at the RID Federal Credit Union in the Clocktower Building on Arsenal Island and later at the Gas & Electric Credit Union, Rock Island, retiring in 2022, after over 34 years. She previously attended the Church of Christ in Moline. Bev loved nothing more than being with her family, especially attending swim meets, dance recitals and school events for her grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Larry; mother, Pauline Moon; daughters, Angela (Darren) Brant, Normal, Illinois, Amanda (Michael) Krahl, Davenport; grandchildren, Logan and Madelyn Krahl, step grandchildren, Morgan and Denver Brant; brothers, Bill (Debbie) Moon, Moline, and Terry Moon, East Moline; nephew, Jim Moon and nieces, Janette Koepke, Jennifer Moon and Brittany Moon.

She was preceded in death by her father.
