Bill Addis, 83 of Orion, passed away on January 24, 2011 at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m.on Saturday, January 29th at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd.
1301-4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Heart Association or the Orion United Methodist Church.
Bill was born on March 19, 1927 in Peoria, IL the son of Charles and Mabel Ethel Milligan Addis. He married Elaine Jordan on June 6, 1954 in Woodhull, IL.
Bill was employed by the CB & Q Railroad for 19 years and later worked in the maintenance department for Deere Parts Distribution Center in Milan for 20 years retiring in 1987. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Bill was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church and was interested in old cars especially 1926 Model T and a 1930 Model A. He loved NASCAR racing and his 1968 Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Maureen Parson.
