Bobbie Lee "Bob" Lamberson, 72, of Rock Island, IL, died June 28, 2013, in Lovelock, NV.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bob was born on January 12, 1941, in Davenport, IA, the son of Lonnie and Lula (James) Lamberson. He married Vicki Peterson in Moline in 1960.
Bob was a United States Army Veteran and worked in truck driving as an owner/operator since 1964. He was later joined by his wife, Vicki, and they drove together as a team since 1992. He enjoyed watching his pastors and Christian Evangelist service shows on t.v. He also enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger, Matlock, and westerns. Above all, Bob loved playing with his grandkids and dogs, Shadow and Foxy.
When asked about his grandpa, his grandson would say, "He was very very faithful and really funny!"
