Bonita H. Thompson, 98, of Silvis, IL, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1001 9th Street, Orion, IL. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Bonita was born on January 10, 1915, in Orion, IL, the daughter of Gust and Edna (Anderson) Hultgren. She married Phillip J. Thompson on December 30, 1939, in Chicago, IL, and he preceded her in death on September 18, 1994, in Moline, IL. Bonita was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and several civic organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip, of more than 50 years.
