Bonnetta "Bonnie" K. Jackson, 66, of Barstow, IL, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Calvary Church of the Quad Cites, 4700 53rd Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Bonnie was born on June 21, 1947, in Iowa, the daughter of George "Butch" and Helen (Boyer) Talbot. She married Richard Kenneth "Ken" Jackson, Sr. on June 21, 1969, in Rock Island and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2006.

Bonnie worked as a seamstress and owned Bonnie's Alterations. Prior to that, she worked for Seford's, Bradford Co., Crescent Cleaners, and Foreman & Clark. She attended Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. Bonnie enjoyed sewing and camping. More than anything she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard, Jr.; brother, Tom.
