Brenda Ann McCormick

Brenda Ann McCormick, 61, of Colona, IL, passed away, October 15, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autistic & Loved, in honor of her grandson Jackson.

Brenda was born on December 26, 1963, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Gary and Carolyn (Bogaert) Halsted. She married Jeffrey Thomas McCormick in Coal Valley, IL, on June 27, 1981; he preceded her in death on September 7, 2008. Brenda was part of the Orion High School class of 1982 but graduated early in 1981. She worked at Oscar Mayer for 31 years until she retired in 2018. Brenda enjoyed doing arts and crafts, specifically diamond art. She also loved to travel and going on cruises in the Caribbean.

Survivors include her parents, Carolyn and Gary Halsted; sons, Josh, Jeremy, and Jared McCormick; grandson, Jackson; sister, Teresa (Danny) Hulslander.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey and sister, Linda Price.
