Bruce D. Hurley, age 62, of Moline, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Aspenwood Health Care Center, Silvis.
Per his wishes, cremation rights have been accorded. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, Illinois. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Military rites will be accorded by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bruce was born January 25, 1952 in Moline, Illinois, the son of Fred and Sydney Johnson Hurley. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator by Local 150. He enjoyed going to the boats and having coffee with the guys. He also enjoyed farming on the side. Bruce was a U.S. Army Veteran.
