Brynn Olivia "Boo" Ovens

Brynn "Boo" Olivia Ovens, 17 months, of East Moline, IL, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA, after a lifelong struggle with HLHS.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heart Friends Organization, Dept. of Pediatric Cardiology at University Hospitals, 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, IA, 52242.

Brynn was born on October 5, 2011 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Shawn and Heather (Machamer) Ovens. She loved dancing and listening to music. Boo enjoyed watching Yo Gabba Gabba and Dragon Ball Z with her father. She was a very happy little girl who touched the lives of all she met.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Warren "Chuck" Machamer.
