Carlita Rose Kettering, age 89, formerly of Orion, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Aspen Rehab and Health Care, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301-4th Street, Orion. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Western Township Cemetery, Orion.
Rose was born May 30, 1922 in Lenox, Ohio ,the daughter of Fred and Edna Hayford. She married James P. Kettering on December 31, 1949 in Florida. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1999.
Rose was a member of First Baptist Church in Orion. She was a member of the Shining Lights of the church.
