Carlo John Kauzlarich, age 86, formerly of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. Lucy's Croatian Catholic Church, Troy, Michigan. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an Illinois Hospice Organization or the Alzheimer's Association.
Carlo was born April 22, 1924 in Diamond, Iowa to Kazimir and Cecelia "Cila" Yadro Kauzlarich. He married Mary M. Jovanovich on January 22, 1955 in Mystic, Iowa.
Carlo was an Army Veteran during WWII and Korean War. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus.
He retired from the US Postal Service.
