Carlyle E. Grundstrom

Carlyle E. Grundstrom, 52, of Orion, IL, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 while on vacation with his family in Baraboo, WI.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at the funeral home. This will be a casual attire event - wear your boots! Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established in his name.
Carlyle was born on May 27, 1960 in Moline, IL, the son of the late Lyle E. and Carol F. (Litton) Grundstrom.
He married Becky Snell on August 21, 1981 in Orion. Later, he married Amy Marshall on October 8, 1994 in Orion. He graduated from Orion High School, Class of 1978. In his younger years he worked for Harold Wooley hauling cattle. Carlyle later became the owner and operator of Grundstrom Pump Service, in Orion, where he and his father worked side by side for years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and loved Ford vehicles. He also had an appreciation for antique collectibles and old cars. Carlyle was a family man.

Carlyle will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
