Carol J. Hagstrom, 72, of Moline, IL, died Monday, February 23, 2015, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 13th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.
Carol was born on May 17, 1942, in Geneseo, IL, the daughter of Harold and Isa Nowers Peterson. She married Gerald Hagstrom on December 28, 1970, in Geneseo. She worked as a school teacher for District 40 in Moline.
Carol was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline and Delta Kappa Gama. Carol really liked working with the concession stand volunteers at the QCCA. She enjoyed traveling to Minnesota and sitting and reading in the sun. She especially enjoyed a little gambling and taking money from Mr. Cashman. Carol loved her family, socializing, and meeting new people.
