Carol J. Nelson, age 72, of Moline, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Carol was born August 15, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of Lloyd W. and Vera R. Culbertson Bull. She married John A. Nelson on March 14, 1959 in Rock Island.
Carol was employed as a bookkeeper for Mid-American Energy Company. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and traveling. Carol mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
