Cassie Fay Eddleman, 99, of Silvis passed away November 3, 2008 at Illini Restorative Care in Silvis.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.Friday, November 7, 2008 at First Baptist Church, East Moline. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
Cassie was born on October 30, 1909 in Anna, Illinois the daughter of Thomas Frank and Mary (Settlemoir) Anderson. She married Wesley Ray Eddleman on June 5, 1926. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1958.
She was employed at the Woolworth lunch counter in Moline for several years. Later she was employed by the former State Hospital in East Moline retiring on Oct. 1, 1974. She was a longtime and very active member at First Baptist Church in East Moline, where she was a mother of the year, a member of the women's group and was on the Diaconate Board at the church. She loved playing cards, especially euchre and played in many card clubs.
