Catherine A. Murphy, 61, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Sarcoma research. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Catherine was born on September 8, 1954, in Anchorage, AK, the daughter of James Edward and Marylou Viviani Udy. She married Blake B. Murphy on May 22, 2004, in Milan, IL. She was currently working as a customer service agent for AT&T.
Catherine was a Chicago Bears fan. She loved spending time with her family and friends and dog, "Samantha".
Survivors include her loving husband, Blake; daughter, Dawn (Arlyn) Heaton, Milan, IL; 4 grandchildren, Olivia Hartwick, Tristan Hartwick, James Edward Hartwick, and Seth Hartwick; 1 great granddaughter, Madison Hartwick; mother, Marylou Udy; 3 sisters, Laura (Rueben Sierra) Udy, Kim Block, and Marybeth (Chris) Myers.
She was preceded in death by her father.
