Catherine Romaine

Catherine A. Romaine, 56, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Catherine was born on June 15, 1962, in Moline, the daughter of Eugene and Frances (Orban) Axnix.  She had previously worked in housekeeping at the University of Iowa.  Catherine was a loving and creative artist.  She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her father, Gene; siblings, Eugene Axnix III, Rock Island, and Elizabeth (Frank) Lower, Parnell, IA; a niece and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and siblings, John and Mary.
