Cecil Eugene Erickson

Cecil E. Erickson, 87, of Moline passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at his residence.

Private grave side services will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal.  Esterdahl Mortuary is assisting the family.

Cecil was born on April 2, 1934, in Sherrard, Illinois the son of William “Billy” and Lyla Peterson Erickson.  He married his longtime sweetheart, Sharon on April 19, 2021.

Cecil was a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1956 – 1958.  He was employed as a maintenance mechanic with United Medical Center the former Lutheran Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; son, Troy (Sandra) Erickson; daughters, Rhonda Hinson and Dede White.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gail, brother, Marvin Erickson and infant grandsons, Christopher, Nicholas and Joseph.
