Cecil Clarence Gray, 90, formerly of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cecil was born on October 3, 1922 in Collinsville, IL, the son of Esker Owen and Buelah (Atwood) Gray. He married Jessie Stauffer on May 10, 1953, in Pekin, IL. She preceded him in death on March 20, 2003. Cecil served at the Battle of the Bulge in the U.S. Army during WWII. He received the WWII Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and 3 Bronze Stars.

Sister Mary Rosentreter Toledo, OH
Nephew John Rosentreter
Nieces Sheila Fadell and Sandra Stauffer
Great Nieces Amber (Lon) Jackson, Susan McFalls, and Kimberly Senders

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie, and sister, Lucille.
