Charlene "Charlie McNeece

Charlene “Charlie” McNeece, 90, of East Moline, passed away at Aperion Care Moline on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

There will be no services.  Cremation rights have been accorded.  Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice of Iowa.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Charlie was born on June 22, 1929, in Shabbona, Illinois, the daughter of Ernest R. & Rose E. (Caquelin) Holmes.  She married William R. McNeece.  He preceded her in death on April 27, 1970.  Charlie worked at the YMCA and YWCA in Clinton, Iowa.  She also worked at Swift & Co. in Clinton.

Survivors include her children; Rick (Christine) McNeece, East Moline, Susan McNeece, Davenport, Larry (Danelle) McNeece, Morrison; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and sister, Emilie Dvorak, Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband and 5 sisters.
