Charles F. Brumberg, 82, of Colona, IL, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to a cancer charity of donor’s choice.
Charles was born on September 13, 1934, in Orlando, FL, the son of Frederick and Eleanor Wilson Brumberg. He married Linda L. Galanius in December of 1960 in Rock Island, IL. He worked as an over the road truck driver for Wenger Truck Line in Davenport for 13 years, retiring in 1995.
Charles enjoyed working on his lawn and garden. He also liked to watch football and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Gregory A. (Elizabeth) Brumberg, Colona, IL, and Cris A. (fiancé Mary Hallam) Brumberg, Rock Island, IL; grandchildren, Jessica (Brett) Carlson, Natasha (Daniel) Lee, Brandon Laermans; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Brumberg, Augusta, GA, and Rodney Nielson, Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Angela Kray.
