Charles "Chuck" William Fauser

Charles “Chuck” William Fauser, 70, of Moline, passed away on July 1, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis East Campus in Davenport.

A Remembrance Service for Charles is scheduled at a later date. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Chuck was born on November 10, 1955, in Moline, the son of Robert and Beverly (Anderson) Fauser.

Baptized and Confirmed Member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, Illinois. Awards received while working as a Department Maintenance Supervisor at Black Hawk College, Moline, IL. for his 30 years of dedication and service. Charles retired from Black Hawk College in 2007.

Charles enjoyed reading, he liked working in his yard and Sports – Baseball, Football and Basketball. He was an avid Cubs Fan, Chicago Bears Fan and Iowa Hawkeye Fan. Charles enjoyed many fishing trips to Minnesota with his Dad and Brothers and other family over the years and the great outdoors. He enjoyed listening to music and talk radio hosts. He was a Christian with a love for the Lord, his savior Jesus Christ. He loved and appreciated his family and friends. His niece Rebecca Littig was a caregiver to Charles in the last few years of his life. Thank you to Barbara Marlin, the Parish nurse of Faith Lutheran Church for visiting with Charles in his last months of life. Thank you to the Daughters of Zion Catholic prayer group for praying and singing over Charles on his last day. And a special thanks to Fr. Nicholas Akindele of Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport, IA.

Charles is survived by his brother & sister-in-law Steve & Nancy Fauser of Arkansas, sister & brother-in-law Pam & Marc Garcia of Moline, IL, brother & sister-in-law David & Jennie Fauser of Crosslake, Minnesota and sister and brother-in-law Catherine & Alan Moneysmith of Davenport, IA. Nieces Kimberly, Kara and Rebecca – Nephews Michael, Kraig and Jon including (10) grandnieces and grandnephews and Aunt, Barbara Haertjens, Moine, IL and several Cousins scattered throughout the country. Charles is Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beverly Fauser and a niece, Julie Ann Garcia.
