Charles P. Cossaboon, 77, of East Moline, IL, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal, where military honors will be conducted by Moline American Legion Post 246. Those wishing to attend the service should meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Charles was born on October 19, 1938, in Chester County, PA, the son of Charles and Sadie Dean Cossaboon. He married Eva McCoy on February 14, 1977, in Davenport, IA, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2008. He was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army.
Charles was a “Treasure Seeker” and loved antiques. Previously, he and his wife owned an antique shop.
Survivors include his siblings George (Wendy) Cossaboon, Linda (Sean) McDonnell, Arnold (Marilyn) Williamson, and Bobby (Roseanne) Williamson; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, John Cossaboon.
