Charlotte A. Johnson, 93, passed away on August 30, 2017 at the Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, Fl.
Charlotte was born in Ft. Madison, IA and was a long-term resident of Orion, IL before moving to Florida in 2013. Her community and family were always very important to her, which showed through in her church and civic activities. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Orion, IL for over 25 years and most recently a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Summerfield, FL. Charlotte was an avid volunteer, spending more than 20 years as a volunteer paramedic in the Orion, IL area and an member of the Friendly Stitchers and W-ELCA faith groups. For the last several years in Florida she was known to crotchet and donate hundreds of neonatal baby hats, helmet liners for soldiers and lap blankets for veterans. Charlotte also loved to play bridge, watch NASCAR and support her Chicago Bulls.
Charlotte was preceded in death by, husband Luther Johnson, husband Harold Keel and her mother Mary E. Clements.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Mary F. Wallace (Wilbur); step-daughter, Holly Johnson; grandchildren Shelly Saucedo ( Victor), Rene’ Stearman (Don), Chris Gutierrez (Dan), Angela Tague (Denis LeRoy), Glen Wallace (Tami), Harold Wallace (Trish), Ricky Wallace (Jill); great-grandchildren, Victor “Chopper” Saucedo, Samuel Saucedo, Sarah Bullard (Ethan), Luke Stearnman, Grant Gutierrez, Kylie Gutierrez, Josh Wallace, Justin Wallace, Sydney Wallace, Chase Wallace, Zachary Wallace and Jacob Wallace; great-great grandchildren, Alanah Wallace, Julian Wallace and Logan Wallace.
